Service essence: We implement automated laboratory analysis and control solutions based on ISO 17025 requirements in the “Power BI” system (Power Query, Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power BI Report Builder). The goal is to ensure that data preparation, visualization, reporting, metrological traceability, uncertainty presentation, decision rules, and internal control mechanisms are consistently implemented according to ISO 17025 Chapters 7–8 (process requirements, reporting of results, management system control) and laboratory methodologies. This allows for the automation of X/R/IS control charts, intermediate checks, blind sample verifications, equipment bias/drift tracking, and the generation of statements of conformity directly from “Power BI” reports.
What the service includes
Data architecture design: Modeling of sources (Dataverse/Excel/SharePoint/SQL), semantic model design, dimension–fact structure, control of units of measure and transformations (Power Query) in line with ISO 17025 sections 7.2, 7.3 and 7.11 (method selection/validation, sample data, information management).
Quality control automation: Visualizations of X-charts, R-charts, IS-charts, r% (BDS-2), alerts and rules (e.g., “7 in a row above/below X”, above UCL/LCL) implemented in Power BI, based on your validated data flows.
Display of metrological traceability and uncertainty: Presentation of calibration chain, U (uncertainty), AR/NR, T(R), S(R), SSN(R) in reports (7.6; 7.8.4), with a clear application of the decision rule for statements of conformity (7.8.6).
Equipment performance monitoring (bias/drift): KPI for scale bias/drift, control charts, and automated deviation notifications (7.10 Nonconforming work).
Reporting: Paginated reports with Power BI Report Builder (TP forms, summaries: Air/PM/VOC/Water/Noise/WWTP) and interactive (Service) visuals, meeting 7.8 reporting requirements (method, units of measure, uncertainty, deviations, person approving the report).
Controls and error detection in Power Query: Logic for ERZ/DZ summaries, automatic surfacing of errors in dates/registration numbers/sample time/analyte identification to meet 7.5 technical records and 7.11 data management requirements.
Management system integrations: Monitoring of risks and opportunities (8.5), corrective actions (8.7), internal audit evidence (8.8), and management review (8.9) via Power BI KPIs and “audit summaries”.
Value for the organization
Real-time ISO 17025 compliance evidence: report metadata (method, U, decision rule) and automated control charts reduce the risk of human error and accelerate compliance demonstration to the accreditation body.
Unified, validated DB ecosystem: Power BI solutions rely on your already verified flows (e.g., ATL–ERZ–DZ → X/R/IS; scale bias/drift; TP summaries), so implementation is amortized into proven logic and result comparability (results are “identical” for manual and automated paths).
Transparency and traceability: each report and KPI traces back to data origin, sampling plan/method, calibration status, DLK/AKS/limits (where applicable), as required by 7.8 and 3.7–7.6 (decision rule, uncertainty).
Faster decisions: thanks to deviation and error tiles (KPI cards), management and quality teams see where corrective actions are needed (7.10, 8.7), and lab specialists close nonconformities faster.
Maintenance services
Model support and updates: semantic model versioning, measure/column change control, data lineage documentation (8.3 document control, 8.4 records).
Internal audit and corrective action cycle: periodic audit dashboards, corrective action tracking and closure via Power BI/Power Automate (8.8, 8.7).
Review of metrological traceability and uncertainty: updates to U/AR/NR/T(R)/S(R)/SSN(R) calculations, decision rule review (7.6, 7.8.6) when methods or limits change.
Expansion of quality control libraries: implementation and testing of new control rules (e.g., “2 or more X beyond IL”, “no intermediate check”) according to your DB validation methodology.
Paginated report support: TP forms, printable summaries, PDF generation mediation to comply with 7.8 requirements and provide standardized extracts for auditors.
